WHAT CAN YOU DO?
- Adjust your sleep schedule before you leave to be similar to your destination.
- Fly during the day so you don't miss sleep.
- Avoid caffeine, alcohol and heavy meals while travelling.
- Switch to local time as soon as you arrive. Eat and sleep on this schedule with "powernaps" in the afternoon, if necessary.
- Expect to need time to adjust; don't plan a lot of activities for the first day or two.
